We are Manufacturer & Supplier of stainless steel lap joint flanges in Mumbai, India. These flanges are used behind and in conjunction with a Stub End. The lap joint flange floats on the pipe which allows allows for easy bolting. Alloy Steel Lapped Joint Flanges are designed in a way that they swing over the pipe without the need to be welded. As they do not come in contact with the inner fluid, they do not corrode and can be re-used.
These types of flanges are similar to slip-on flanges. The only difference is that it has a curved radius at the bore and face to accommodate a lap joint stub end. They may be used at all pressures and are available in a full size range. The Lap Joint Flange nominal pipe size is 6" with a total diameter of 11". It has a pressure class rating of 150 and has 8 bolt holes. It is made of AMSE B 16.5 (steel) and comes in a thickness of 1.56".
